Job Description
Cytronic is hiring 2 Warehouse Associates for our Addison fulfillment center. We're a VC-backed startup building an automated 3PL — robotics and AI combined with hands-on fulfillment — currently shipping for 20+ e-commerce brands and growing fast. First shift, Monday-Friday. $19-$22/hour depending on experience, plus 401(k) match, medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, and paid holidays. This isn't a standard warehouse job. The product comes to you. Instead of walking the building all day hunting for items, you work at a station and our automated system brings the product to you. You'll be trained on receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping instead of doing one thing all day. And when a tool or a process isn't working, you tell us — the people who build our software work here, and they change things based on what the floor tells them. What you'll do: Receive incoming freight and check it in our system against what the customer said they sent; catch shortages and damage before it gets put away Put away, pick, pack, and ship customer orders — the automated system brings product to your station Pack to each brand's packaging standards, including some kitting Stage outgoing shipments by carrier and cutoff time Count inventory and help sort out the differences Learn to use new equipment and software as we add it Speak up when something isn't working — that feedback is part of the job Keep your area clean, organized, and safe What we need: 18+, authorized to work in the U.S. Dependable — a small site feels every absence Comfortable using a computer screen or tablet to do your work (we'll train you) Detail-oriented; you'd rather ask than ship the wrong item Willing to speak up when something isn't working Able to stand for most of an 8-hour shift and lift up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation A plus, but not required: 3PL, e-commerce, or fulfillment experience WMS, RF scanning, or ASRS experience You adapt well to new technology and changing process Interest in growing into a larger role over time You've improved a process at a past job, not just followed one Why here: We're early and growing. You'll learn the whole operation instead of one station, and as we open more sites there are real paths ahead — lead roles and salaried operations positions. If you're looking for steady, dependable work at a growing company, that works too. Occasional overtime and weekend coverage during peak season. Overtime paid per Illinois and federal law. Cytronic Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
