Warehouse Technician (Material Handling & Order Processing) Proman Staffing Aurora, IL $19.00-$21.00 per hour Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Proman Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support daily warehouse and lab operations, with a primary focus on material handling and order processing . This position offers growth potential and is designed to develop into a backup resource for the Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager when needed. Key ResponsibilitiesMaterial Handling & Warehouse Operations Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming materials Verify shipments against packing slips; report discrepancies or damage Pick, pack, stage, label, and load outbound shipments Perform RFID labeling, repackaging, relabeling, and inventory conversions Assist with inventory audits, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Assist with palletizing, de‑palletizing, and general material movement Operate material‑handling equipment (forklift certification required or obtainable) Order Processing & Administrative Support Review and categorize orders (retailer, distributor, dealer, e‑commerce, drop ship, marketing) Process orders and shipments using SAP , Excel, and Outlook Create and manage shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists, commercial invoices) Navigate customer EDI systems and online portals to meet routing requirements Coordinate shipments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and on‑time delivery Support year‑end and physical inventory counts Qualifications & Physical Requirements Proficient computer skills; SAP experience preferred Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Outlook Strong attention to detail, communication, and follow‑up skills Ability to lift up to 45 lbs Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending, twisting, and lifting Forklift experience preferred (certification required or willingness to obtain) English proficiency required Must pass background check and drug screening Work Environment Warehouse and lab environment (on‑site) Standard warehouse conditions with material‑handling activity Why Work with Proman Staffing?
