Job Details:

The Warehouse Associate plays an essential role in the warehouse operations. They are responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including receiving, sorting, packing and shipping materials. Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive incoming materials and supplies, verifying accuracy and quality against purchase orders or delivery documents Sort and organize materials in designated locations, ensuring proper storage and easy accessibility Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Utilize warehouse management systems or manual documentation to record inventory transactions and maintain accurate records Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage of materials Conduct inventory counts and assist in performing regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy Follow established procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize warehouse processes and enhance productivity Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including sweeping, organizing shelves, and disposing of packaging materials Assist in other warehouse-related tasks as assigned by supervisors

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions accurately Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects Basic computer skills to utilize inventory management systems or other warehouse software Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and supervisors Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed Familiarity with warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks or forklifts, is a plus but not required Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment and following established safety protocols
