Stand-Up Forklift Operator - Bolingbrook, IL 4PM-12:30AM
MONDAY-FRIDAY OT AVAILABILITY NEEDED ON SATURDAY/SUNDAY
$22.20/hr Job Description This role supports e-commerce operations by safely and efficiently moving merchandise throughout a distribution center using material handling equipment. You ensure products are accurately received, stored, picked, packed, and loaded so they arrive in perfect condition for customers. The position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work a consistent second shift schedule. Responsibilities Operate warehouse equipment to move merchandise safely and efficiently throughout the distribution center. Unload and process receipt of merchandise from inbound trucks, verifying accuracy and condition of products. Stock received merchandise into designated warehouse locations according to established procedures. Locate specified products to fulfill orders and move them to the loading dock for outbound shipments. Pack smaller products into larger containers or cartons for shipment to retail locations and customers. Load merchandise onto outbound trucks for shipment to company locations and other destinations. Move merchandise to designated warehouse locations while maintaining proper organization and flow. Load, unload, and process merchandise for both inbound and outbound trucks in a timely manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety and housekeeping standards. Accurately complete and process required paperwork and documentation related to inventory and shipments. Follow all warehouse procedures and guidelines to ensure product quality and order accuracy. Essential Skills Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or production environment handling merchandise. Ability to safely load, unload, and process merchandise for inbound and outbound trucks. Ability to move merchandise to designated warehouse locations with attention to accuracy and placement. Strong attention to detail when picking, packing, and stocking products. Ability to accurately process required paperwork and follow written procedures. Comfort working on a consistent 2nd shift schedule from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Open availability to work any day of the week from Sunday through Saturday as needed. High School Diploma. Additional Skills & Qualifications Certification to operate a stand-up forklift is preferred. Previous experience with inventory, picking, packing, loading, and general warehouse operations. Ability to maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety guidelines. Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to support different warehouse tasks as needed. Why Work Here? No personal protective equipment is required, and steel toe boots are not required. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans, t-shirts, and hoodies, with the expectation that hoods remain down while on the warehouse floor. Closed-toe shoes, such as gym shoes, are required, and sandals are not permitted. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bolingbrook, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.20 - $22.20/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
