Family owned and operated for more than 70 years, Malelo Inc. is a wholesale e-commerce distributor serving professionals in the photographic, audio/video tape, data storage, and equipment industry. We are seeking a full-time or part-time Shipping and Receiving Associate to assist in daily warehouse functions. College students encouraged to apply. The qualified candidate must have a strong work ethic and possess the ability to work autonomously and also in a team environment. The candidate should have enthusiasm for and the ability to perform detailed work. Professionalism and an excellent attendance record are a must.

Primary job duties:

Assist in the daily operations of the warehouse activities including providing materials, equipment, and supplies by coordinating receiving, warehousing, and distribution services; working with other staff members and customers.

Warehouse Associate Job Duties:

Assist with making sure all shipments are checked in accurately and put away in a timely manner Help process orders in an accurate and timely manner Experience with UPS Worldship required and USPS Help coordinate with clients, suppliers and transport companies; arrange freight quotes with carriers Help control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system. Assists in maintaining physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement. Assist warehouse manager in completing daily operational requirements Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Drivers license required Works with customers to complete orders when needed.

Skills:

1-2 years of warehouse experience helpful High School Diploma/College students encouraged to apply Computer Literacy, familiarity with Internet explorer, MS word, MS Excel and UPS worldship system Comfortable multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment Team player Customer service skills Detail orientated Spanish speaking, bilingual helpful Capable of lifting 50 lb. boxes (very few are this heavy but this is needed at times) Reports to:

Part-time :

Flexible hours. •Flexible Schedule during office hours 9am-6pm

Salary:

Salary commensurate with experience. $16.60-$18.
