Job Description

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking to fill a Material Handler position in Decatur, IL. Pay is $19.00hr and this is a 1st shift position. Overall Purpose Under direction of the Shift Supervisor or Warehouse Team Lead, the HT Material Handler completes in a timely manner all receiving, shipping, and material handling functions as required . Area Manager/ Director of Operations Responsibilities Sort material as needed Accurately and legibly fill out daily paperwork Perform record and time keeping activities as required Complete damaged goods reports and/or accident reports as required Use power and hand tools typically found in a warehouse environment Safely move, stage, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment Operate a forklift for extended periods while following all safety, quality, and warehouse procedures Use powered industrial trucks and pallet jacks to move material within the work area Complete other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Hard Skills Values & Attitudes Must be able to speak, read, and write English Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment Must have reliable transportation Accurately perform basic mathematics (add, subtract, multiply, divide) Ability to learn, understand, and follow work instructions and safety procedures Operating-level proficiency using personal and laptop computers Capable of accurately maintaining records and timekeeping documentation Powered Industrial Truck Operator (OSHA) certification or ability to obtain certification through
