Duties and Responsibilities Accounting
- Supervise and perform daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial transactions for accuracy and compliance
- Ensure accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Manage Reporting functions and Aging reports
- Generate, review, and distribute accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
- Set up new accounts and provide credit references for our customer
- Support implementation of new systems, tools, or accounting processes
- Delegate workload, monitor performance, and support professional growth
- Support internal and external audits
- Resolve billing discrepancies by working with customers and internal departments
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and billing standards
- Process adjustments, credits, and refunds as needed
- Reports to Sales on Customer financials and escalate trends
- Manage Accounting Customer Relations and proactively increase customer satifaction
- Manage/ Collaborate with direct oversite to reconcile accounts and close month-end billing
- Supervise employees in the department
- Manage Accounting Emails
- Other duties as assigned Ideal Candidate Traits
- Leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
- CPA or CMA certification preferred (or progress toward certification)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (and/or IFRS as applicable)
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
- Excellent customer service (Required)
- Strong organizational and time management skills (Required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-Motivated to get work done in support of personnel and company objectives
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP experience (preferred)
- Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
