Duties and Responsibilities Accounting

• Supervise and perform daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial transactions for accuracy and compliance
• Ensure accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Manage Reporting functions and Aging reports
• Generate, review, and distribute accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
• Set up new accounts and provide credit references for our customer
• Support implementation of new systems, tools, or accounting processes
• Delegate workload, monitor performance, and support professional growth
• Support internal and external audits
• Resolve billing discrepancies by working with customers and internal departments
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and billing standards
• Process adjustments, credits, and refunds as needed
• Reports to Sales on Customer financials and escalate trends
• Manage Accounting Customer Relations and proactively increase customer satifaction
• Manage/ Collaborate with direct oversite to reconcile accounts and close month-end billing
• Supervise employees in the department
• Manage Accounting Emails
• Other duties as assigned Ideal Candidate Traits
• Leadership experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
• CPA or CMA certification preferred (or progress toward certification)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (and/or IFRS as applicable)
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
• Excellent customer service (Required)
• Strong organizational and time management skills (Required)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-Motivated to get work done in support of personnel and company objectives
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP experience (preferred)
• Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
