Sensient is growing rapidly due to the Global Natural Color expansion! You will help us embark on this exciting $1 Billion growth journey! We are looking for a Material Handler (9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday) to join our team and play an essential role in coordinate the movement of product throughout the facility to provide a consistent flow of materials. What You'll do: Load / unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers. You will also maintain and manage inventory to ensure maximum storage capacity; handle emergency material requests; load and unload docks; manage disposal inventory; and act as forklift driver for Shipping and Receiving. Enter, maintain and update computer inventory records so real-time accurate inventory is available. Manage and maintain inventory in accordance with all housekeeping and stock maintenance guidelines while achieving and maintaining inventory accuracy of 95% or higher. Be responsible for inventory, rotation and inspection of freight held in the warehouse. Label shipments and product. Complete required documentation, prepare shipments and boxes for shipping, and Closely work with Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations Supervisor and Warehouse Operations Manager to become experienced in all warehouse responsibilities and ensure that all warehouse procedures are followed in all areas according to ISO9001 and safety standards. What You'll bring: High School diploma or G.E.D., with prior warehouse operations and inventory management experience. (AS400 operation desirable). 3-5 years of inventory operations and forklift (Reach/Stand/Sit) experience required. Ability to work overtime any day up to and including Saturday/Sunday as required. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and math skills. The ability to Label, weigh, and dimension freight and record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports.
