$60,000 to $70,000 Annually – Plus Benefits The Warehouse Operations Assistant is a critical role will be a key piece in every department of the warehouse. You will communicate with all department supervisors on the overall inventory, warehousing, distribution, shipping and receiving functions and work on process improvements. This truly is a role that requires an individual who is eager to learn many different areas and has a desire to grow within the organization. This role requires someone to be a self-starter and good manager. Job Description Morning huddle with all the supervisors to manage the priorities of each warehouse department. Develop practices, procedures, goals and objectives for each warehouse department and the strategies and methodologies to implement and/or achieve them. Oversee all incoming and outgoing activity and ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments. Review overall operation and processes and identify areas for improvement for all functions. Be able to offer recommendations to the leaderships team for improvement and be able to successfully implement changes. Maintain proper operational adherence if being followed to company's SOP's attendance policies and safety program Forecast and perform material management to maintain supply and inventory levels Produce regular reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis Ensures quality requirements are met according to customer standards Maintain and ensure high standards of safety throughout operations Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met Train and mentor others; monitor their performance and progress to create future leaders Qualifications 2-4 years of warehouse and management experience High school degree/GED and bachelor's degree preferred Bilingual - Spanish and English are a plus Strong knowledge of warehousing key performance indicators (KPIs) Computer literacy in Word, Excel and ERP Verbal and written communications skills Ability to lead, manage, and motivate staff Benefits Comprehensive health, dental and vision insurance Long-term disability insurance 401k with company match 15 days
