About us DTC Workforce Programs is a large scale staffing business in Elk Grove, IL. We are professional and agile. We are looking for a dependable and reliable Warehouse Associate and Forklift Operators to join our team. This role requires the successful candidate to quickly and safely move and position materials throughout the facility using forklift equipment. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the operation of several different types of forklifts, and familiar with warehouse operations. The ideal candidate must also follow all safety procedures related to the use of heavy machinery, possess the ability to quickly multitask between various tasks, and have the ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and management. Job Description Responsible for the daily handling movement, preparation, shipping, and receiving of materials within a warehouse/production environment. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a physical setting. Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

Operate a forklift. Load and unload crates, boxes, and other pieces of material. Drive a forklift through a warehouse or similar facility. Use hand signals to communicate with others in warehouse or similar facility. Receive, inspect, organize, and stage incoming materials. Pick, pack, prepare, and stage outgoing shipments. Load/unload and move materials throughout the facility. Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records. Follow warehouse production and safety procedures. Support production and other warehouse operations as needed. Qualifications Warehouse, shipping/receiving, or production experience preferred 2+ years warehouse experience preferred Forklift experience Ability to follow instructions and work independently Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to stand, sit, bend, squat, and lift up to 40lbs. Willingness to learn; training available for motivated candidates
