Shipping Supervisor Position Summary:

Warehouse Associates are responsible for shipping, packaging, preparing orders, packing boxes, labeling bags, and folding boxes in our Galesburg fish production and shipping facility. Warehouse Associates are also responsible for understanding fish quality, and for following company policies and training guidelines throughout the entire production process.

CORE POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely and efficiently complete assigned production tasks in accordance with OSHA regulations and local, state, and federal health code

Have a positive attitude Has the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and to be on your feet for entirety of a shift Handy and can handle working conditions that vary depending on the production task and time of year. Employees can be exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees in cold storage, 40 degrees in our main production room, and temperature conditions of the non-climate controlled warehouse Listens and is able to follow directions and complete production tasks efficiently, safely Pays attention to details Has done similar work or has life experience that relates to the job- experience in food production,manufacturing and/or warehouse work is a bonus Is reliable and punctual, and has transportation to and from work (required) Can do basic math and has good English language skills Has a high school diploma or equivalent
