Salary:
The range for this position is from $20-$23 an hour depending on the experience and qualifications of the candidate. This role will be for 2nd shift.
Your Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Operator will report to the Warehouse Manager and will generally be responsible for assisting with shipping and receiving operations.
Essential functions include: Investigate inventory availability and generate truckload quantity shipments for various Fuchs divisions and customers
Utilize RF scanner to pick and organize individual product containers for final shipping-this includes maintaining inventory rotation
Utilize fork truck to safely pull, transport, stage, store, etc. finished product and various items in the warehouse
Generate appropriate shipping documentation, including accurate recording of product batch numbers and quantities via SAP
Complete proper shipping transactions within SAP, recording shipping PRO numbers, freight charges, carrier information, etc.
Utilize fork truck to safely load/unload various types of trailers, containers, box trucks, flatbeds, etc. ensuring product will arrive at final destination intact
Communicate with Fuchs Internal Customer Service, Fuchs Inventory Managers, and Fuchs customers appropriate scheduling and delivery requirements via email, fax, and/or telephone
General housekeeping and organization duties (6S)
Perform all Warehouse functions safely and accurately Qualifications we are looking for: 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
Good communication skills (oral and written)
Experienced with operation of fork trucks
Must be able to lift minimum of 40 lbs.
Experience in the chemical/lubricant industry preferred
SAP, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and other ERP/MRP systems is a plus
Experience with RF scanners, WMS, TMS, etc. preferred
