This is a great position for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys working with their hands, and wants the opportunity to learn a skilled trade. No garage door experience is required for the right candidate—we are willing to train. Responsibilities Receive, organize, and maintain garage doors, operators, parts, and other warehouse inventory Load and unload trucks and installation vehicles Pull and prepare materials for upcoming jobs Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe Assist technicians and installers as needed Learn garage door and operator components and basic troubleshooting Opportunity to ride along with experienced technicians and receive hands-on training Progress into garage door service, repair, and installation work based on ability and interest What We're Looking For Dependable and able to show up on time Good work ethic and willingness to learn Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand and power tools Able to perform physical work, including lifting and moving garage door materials Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and good driving record Garage door, construction, maintenance, automotive, HVAC, electrical, or other mechanical experience is a plus, but not required Opportunity for Advancement We are not just looking for someone to move material around a warehouse. We would like to find someone who has the potential to grow with the company. For the right person, we will provide training to become a Garage Door Technician, including garage door service, repairs, operators, troubleshooting, and installation. This provides an opportunity to develop a skilled trade and increase your earning potential as your experience and abilities grow.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
