Warehouse Associate Location:

Markham, IL Pay:

$15.50 per hour

Schedule:

Full time, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week

Occasional overtime required Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team in Markham, Illinois. This role is responsible for preparing, organizing, and moving pet food products for shipment to major customers including Chewy, Amazon, and other distributors. The ideal candidate is timely, detail oriented, safety minded, and comfortable working in a fast paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities Build pallets of pet food accurately and efficiently Shrink wrap pallets securely for shipment Record and verify lot numbers and best by dates Assist with shipping and receiving activities Load and unload products safely Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse Prepare orders to meet company and customer requirements Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow warehouse procedures and safety standards Work with team members to ensure orders are completed on time Qualifications At least 2 years of warehouse experience required Forklift experience required Ability to read, write, and speak either English or Spanish Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Strong attention to detail, especially when tracking lot numbers and best by dates Reliable, punctual, and able to work a full time schedule Able to lift, move, and stack product in a warehouse setting Shipping and receiving experience preferred Ability to work occasional overtime as needed What We Are Looking For Strong work ethic Dependability and timeliness Ability to work efficiently and safely Team player attitude Willingness to help wherever needed in the warehouse
