SHOP WORKER

Air Compressor & Industrial Equipment Shop —

Maywood, Illinois Pay:

$20-$25 per hour, depending on experience We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Shop Worker to join our team in Maywood, Illinois. This is a hands-on position working with air compressors, industrial equipment, parts, and general shop duties. Responsibilities Assist mechanics with servicing and repairing air compressors and related equipment Clean, organize, and prepare equipment and parts Load and unload equipment and parts Assist with compressor tear-downs and rebuilds Perform basic maintenance and shop work Use basic hand and power tools Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe Help receive, identify, and organize incoming parts Follow instructions from shop mechanics and management Perform other general shop duties as needed Qualifications Mechanical or shop experience preferred but not required Must be dependable and have a good work ethic Must be comfortable working with your hands Ability to lift and move equipment and parts Basic knowledge of hand tools Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Must have reliable transportation Must be able to work safely and follow directions What We Offer $20-$25/hour , based on experience Full-time position Monday-Friday schedule Opportunity to learn the air-compressor and industrial-equipment business Opportunity for advancement and increased pay as skills develop Stable work environment with an established company 401K Paid Days Off The Right Person We are looking for someone who shows up on time, works hard, wants to learn, and takes pride in their work .
