Job Summary The Truck Driver/Warehouse Worker is responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and assisting with warehouse operations. This full-time position combines driving responsibilities with warehouse duties, offering an excellent opportunity to gain experience in operations. Key ResponsibilitiesTruck Driving Duties Safely operate company vehicles, including box trucks or delivery vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company protocols. Warehouse Duties Assist in receiving, sorting, and storing incoming shipments in the warehouse. Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling items accurately. Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, after receiving proper training and certification. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies to supervisors. Assist with loading and unloading trucks at the warehouse.

Qualifications Education :

High school diploma or equivalent.

License :

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus but not required.

Experience :

No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Skills :

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks. Basic math and reading skills for inventory and delivery documentation. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Other Requirements :

Must pass a background check and drug screening. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed. Work Environment Combination of driving (outdoor) and warehouse (indoor) work. Exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries. Fast-paced environment requiring physical stamina and time management. Schedule Full-time position, typically 40 hours per week. Shifts may vary based on delivery schedules and warehouse needs.
