•$31.00 per hour 26-09344 Job summary The Maintenance Technician Apprentice performs maintenance activities to keep equipment safe, functional, and efficient by executing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance actions. The role involves learning and demonstrating competency in maintaining and troubleshooting process equipment through training programs and completing assigned work orders within allotted time. Responsibilities Perform required maintenance tasks to ensure equipment safety and functionality. Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance actions. Learn and demonstrate competency in maintaining and troubleshooting process equipment. Complete all assigned work orders within the time allotted. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to use power tools, hand tools, drill presses, and shop tools. Ability to read and interpret documents in English. Able to use a variety of communication methods frequently. Proficient with notebook computers and standard office equipment. Able to sit, stand, stoop, and have hand motor coordination regularly. Capable of moving up and down building stairways in a multi-level plant. Ability to lift 50 pounds, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods. Additional Details Worker will be exposed to hazards of machinery and equipment in an operational baking environment. Work is performed in a climate-controlled area.
