Job Description

Position Summary JobandTalent is hiring a hardworking General Labor / Warehouse Associate to join a fast-paced logistics and distribution facility in North Aurora, IL. In this versatile role, you will perform a variety of essential manual tasks—including loading, unloading, sorting, material handling, and general facility upkeep—to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities Material Handling & Loading:
Manually load and unload freight, raw materials, and finished goods from trailers, containers, and delivery trucks.
Sorting & Palletizing:
Sort, stack, and secure items onto pallets; utilize shrink wrap to prep goods safely for transport or storage.
Production & Assembly Support:
Assist with basic assembly, ticketing, kitting, or rework tasks as assigned by supervisory staff.
Staging & Stocking:
Move inventory throughout the facility using manual or electric pallet jacks; stage stock in designated warehouse bays.
Facility Support:
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment by sweeping aisles, disposing of trash/packaging materials, and adhering to strict safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Prior experience in general labor, construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environments preferred, but entry-level applicants are welcome.
Physical Capability:
Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs continuously across an 8-10 hour shift.
Equipment Knowledge:
Comfort using manual tools, box cutters, and pallet jacks; forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
Work Ethic:
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility:
Willingness to perform varied day-to-day warehouse duties and work overtime or weekend shifts during peak operational demands.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$17.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
