Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to support warehouse and distribution operations at a 100% onsite facility in North Chicago, IL. This position is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse functions, including receiving, order picking, packing, dock processing, counting, sorting, and accurately recording large and heavy-weight inventory. The ideal candidate will have a strong work history, excellent attention to detail, and experience working in a fast-paced, quality-controlled material environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily warehouse operations on the receiving dock. Receive, count, sort, and accurately record inventory and materials. Pick and prepare customer or internal orders. Pack orders accurately according to established procedures. Assist with receiving and dock-processing activities. Handle large and heavy-weight stock safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate inventory and material records. Follow established warehouse, quality, and safety procedures. Work effectively in a fast-paced and loud warehouse environment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Demonstrate reliability, initiative, and strong attention to detail. Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 2+ years of previous warehouse or related work experience . Strong and consistent employment history. Previous exposure to a quality-controlled material or warehouse environment . Strong attention to detail. Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to demonstrate initiative. Ability to work in both hot and cold warehouse environments. Ability to consistently reach, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently . Comfortable working in a loud and fast-paced environment. Must be flexible to work either designated shift schedule. Steel-toe shoes are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous distribution experience. Previous 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) experience. Forklift certification and/or previous forklift experience. Experience operating warehouse equipment such as: Cherry pickers Order pickers Pacer/Dock stockers Turret trucks, including working at heights Stand-up forklifts Physical & Environmental Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently. Frequent reaching, bending, walking, and standing. Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods. Comfortable working in hot and cold environments. Comfortable working in a loud warehouse setting. Ability to safely perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
