Job Description
Overview We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks related to shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and materials handling. If you have experience operating heavy equipment and are familiar with warehouse management systems, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments
- Unload and load trucks using a reach truck or other heavy equipment
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse
- Perform regular cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels
- Operate warehouse management system software to track inventory movements
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
- Heavy lifting (50lbs+) Skills To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
- Proficiency in picking, packing, and materials handling techniques
- Experience operating reach trucks or other heavy equipment
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
