BASIC FUNCTION
Receives, stores, issues and picks purchased parts and supplies as required. Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Receives, stores, and issues purchased parts and supplies to fill the job assembly orders received from production control and manufacturing departments. Examines purchased parts and supplies to verify correctness. Stores parts in bins, on floor, and on shelves according to part number and location. Labels bins, boxes, etc. with part numbers and correct identifying information. Sets-up new locations for various parts. Issues parts and supplies per requisitions and fills service orders with required parts for shipping department. Reads master picklist and picks parts for various departments. Puts parts on corresponding carts and trucks or pallets. Inventories stock and shortages to maintain proper supplies and adjusts inventory counts as needed. Keeps shelves organized.
Shift:
3:35pm-2:05am, Monday-Thursday. Overtime availability on Friday is required.
OTHER DUTIES
Performs preventive maintenance on material handling equipment. Maintains cleanliness of work area and follows safe work practice rules. Performs other miscellaneous duties as required.
