In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently picking, packing, and shipping orders while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Duties Operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools to load, unload, and transport inventory safely. (No experience required, we will train) Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), PDA, and scanners to accurately track inventory movements, perform stock counts, and update records in real-time. Pick and pack customer orders with precision using barcode scanning for logistics, ensuring correct items and quantities are prepared for shipment. Conduct quality control checks on products to verify order accuracy and packaging integrity before dispatch. Assist with shipping and receiving processes by loading trucks, unloading deliveries, and verifying inbound shipments against purchase orders. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by stocking shelves, organizing inventory storage areas, and adhering to safety protocols including PPE use. Support inventory management efforts through regular cycle counts and reporting discrepancies to supervisors for resolution. Skills Basic math skills for counting items, measuring quantities, and verifying shipment details. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for stock accuracy and inventory management. Commitment to safety protocol adherence and PPE use in all tasks performed. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, and barcode scanning. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while following safety procedures. Familiarity with order fulfillment processes including picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and quality control measures. Prior experience in warehouse distribution or warehouse supervisor roles is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment is a plus but not required; we will train on the job as needed.
