$17.00 - $20.00 per hour Job description: Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to inventory management, order fulfillment, and overall warehouse distribution. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of equipment safely. Duties Manage inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks for loading and unloading materials. Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory movements. Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently. Assist in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Engage in heavy lifting and materials handling as required for various tasks. Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, with knowledge of inventory management practices. Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and order fulfillment techniques. Proficiency in operating forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience with packaging materials and techniques for safe shipment of products. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations is a plus. Experience using AS400 or similar warehouse management systems is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
