We believe, "It's not just a closet, it's an experience." Every successful installation begins with an organized shop and accurately prepared materials. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Shop & Warehouse Assistant who takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming materials. Identify and document missing, incorrect, or damaged products. Sort, label, and organize materials by client project. Stage materials, hardware, tools, and supplies for upcoming installations. Load and unload company vehicles safely and accurately. Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment. Maintain accurate inventory and notify the team of shortages. Assist with shipping, receiving, and material returns. Help coordinate material readiness with the installation schedule. Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on tools and equipment. Keep the warehouse, work areas, and company vehicles clean, safe, and organized. Follow company procedures and all workplace safety requirements. Assist installers and other team members as needed. Qualifications Previous warehouse, shop, construction, cabinetry, or material-handling experience preferred. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification. Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and equipment maintenance. Strong organization and attention to detail. Ability to read job labels, packing lists, and basic project documentation. Comfortable using a computer or mobile device for inventory and documentation. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds and perform frequent bending, reaching, standing, and carrying. Schedule and Work Location This is either a part-time or full-time position, and this is an in-person position at our Shorewood, Illinois location. The typical schedule is 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, with occasional schedule adjustments based on deliveries and installation needs.
