Job Description

The Material Handler / Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe movement, storage, and tracking of materials throughout the facility. This role involves operating forklifts and other machinery, using inventory systems, and working closely with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production area Use inventory systems to track material movement and stock levels Measure and prepare materials accurately using a tape measure Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily goals Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any issues Follow all company safety procedures and protocols
Requirements:
Prior experience operating forklifts or similar machinery Knowledge of warehouse or inventory management systems Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Safety-conscious with a strong awareness of proper procedures Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision High school diploma or GED preferred Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
