Job Description
Warehouse Associate On-Site Goodheart‑Willcox Publisher is an employee‑owned company and a recognized leader in Career and Technical Education. We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our growing team! We offer a desirable Monday-through-Friday schedule with no weekends. This position is on-site five days a week in our Tinley Park, Illinois office. The Warehouse Associate will pick and pack orders with accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-organized, and has a positive attitude. Our compensation is market based and takes into account a variety of factors including the candidate's skill set, experience level, internal equity, and location. For this position, we anticipate the starting hourly rate falling between $18.00 and $21.50 per hour. In addition, the company makes a 10% contribution to the Employee Stock Ownership Plan and a 4% matching contribution to the 401(k). What you'll do: Pick, pack, label and ship customer orders accurately using an RF gun. Receive, unload, count and put away incoming inventory. Inspect products for defects and damage and records findings. Cycle count inventory and investigate inventory variances, as directed. Create inventory bundles by shrink-wrapping products together using the bundle machine. Unwrap shrink-wrapped inventory bundles to fulfill component inventory stock needs. Clean and organize warehouse daily. Assist with light maintenance. What you'll bring: Must be able to perform basic math functions. High school diploma is a plus. Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.

Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction consistently throughout the entire 8-hour work day Repetitive motion: Substantial movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers for sustained periods of time, for a minimum of 4 hours throughout an 8-hour workday.Sitting:
Particularly for sustained periods of time. Must be able to sit for 2 consecutive hours throughout an 8-hour workday.Standing:
Particularly for sustained periods of time, must be able to be on your feet for a minimum of 4 consecutive hours throughout an 8-hour workday.Squatting:
To sit in a crouched position with knees bent and the buttocks on or near the heels for a minimum of 20 minutes per day.Twisting:
Turning the body partly around with the pivot point at the waist consistently throughout the entire 8-hour workday.Visual Requirement:
Must read labels or RF gun for up to 4 consecutive hours at a time during an 8-hour workday. Must view high-resolution computer monitor on occasion.Communication Requirement:
Must communicate effectively in person, by phone, e-mail or virtual meeting software with coworkers, customers, and outside vendors.Warehouse Environment:
Employees are protected from weather conditions and contaminants; however, they are subject to temperature fluctuations.Working around moving machinery:
