Material Handler

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler and become a vital part of Production operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for acquiring and preparing the raw materials for the next run on all injection molding presses, cleaning the dryers or grinders at the end of a run, and grinding scrap materials to be used again. Duties Prepares the raw material by mixing resins and loading them into the dryers prior to a run. Delivers inserts to secondary and makes sure the right ones are available when they are needed. Grinds scrap material to be reused on other runs Empties and cleans the dryers and grinders after a run Operates a forklift to move pallets from lcoation to location Responsible for a clean transfer of material from run to run Understands all bills of material and the components Alerts supervisor if there is a shortage of material for current or upcoming runs Qualifications Sense of urgency-able to react appropriately to changing material demands. Ability to handle moderate to high stress due to the pressure of production deadlines. Basic computer familiarit, experience with Microsoft Office software(Outlook, Excel, Word) Planning and Organizations skills - ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives with little supervision. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking; comfortable with repetitive motions involved in loading/unloading activities. $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
