$20.00 / hour Job Description Primary Purpose and FunctionThe Input Department position moves, scans, labels, and stores tires in designated warehouse locations. The position selects appropriate storage locations, verifies accurate placement, and operates order pickers and other warehouse equipment after completing required training.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities Move tires between storage bins and warehouse locations using scanners. Use order pickers to move tires to higher storage areas as needed. Identify the most appropriate available storage locations for tires. Verify that tires are properly labeled and stored in the correct system-designated locations. Scan tire movements accurately and report inventory or location discrepancies to the supervisor. Operate order pickers and other authorized warehouse equipment only after completing required training. Maintain an orderly work area and follow all warehouse safety procedures. Skills & Physical Expectations Ability to use a handheld scanner and follow system-directed storage instructions. Ability to identify appropriate storage locations and verify tire labels and locations accurately. Ability to safely operate order pickers and other authorized warehouse equipment after training. Strong attention to detail when scanning, labeling, moving, and storing tires. Ability to stand and bend frequently during the workday. Ability to regularly lift and move tires weighing 35 to 50 pounds. Safety Equipment / PPE Required Eye protection: provided by UTires.

Steel-toe footwear:

required and must be provided by the employee.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Forklift and warehouse-equipment safety certification will be completed through UTires before the employee operates applicable equipment. Employees must wear required PPE and follow all equipment and warehouse safety procedures.
