Material Handler Full-time | Permanent | Hourly | Night Shift 5:00 pm - 3:30 am | 5 days per week (Some OT may be required) Starting pay: $20 - $22 DOE | Plus a 10% Shift Premium $1,000 Sign-on Bonus!! We are not accepting candidates from third party agencies.

Role:
The material handler oversees raw inventory process by supplying material (bar stock) to production equipment as specified by inventory report or supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Prepare raw inventory by conditioning bar ends using powered grinding equipment Maintain barstock inventory through computerized inventory system, and update inventory sheet daily Cooperation with Tool Crib on raw inventory management Move staged parts between departments to expedite processing Assist with scrap metal process by emptying scrap barrels, assist with loading / unloading services Recover production scrap from machines on a frequency outlined by management Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies and hand trucks in congested areas to move raw stock or reorganize storage Knowledge of record keeping practices and GDP Knowledge of safety practices Assist other departments as specified by supervisor or
Manager Requirements:
Cooperative, team-focused attitude Must have excellent hand-eye coordination and good manual dexterity in both hands to handle raw inventory in lengths up to 12 feet Good eyesight and hearing necessary to operate a forklift Forklift operators must be mobile enough to turn in the driver's seat and drive backwards with no problem. Ability to be trained, certified, and licensed on forklift, pallet jacks and other tools needed to perform the tasks of the job. Must be 18 years old. Ability to lift, push, and pull 40 + pounds regularly. Ability to stand/walk throughout the day for entire shift Ability to read, write and understand English and follow standard operating procedure instructions.
