Job Description

G128 is a small start up eCommerce business founded in 2013. Our growing business sells various products online on Amazon, Ebay, and Walmart.com, as well as our own personal website. We are a passionate young company that cares greatly about our customer satisfaction, product quality. G128 currently has an opening for a Warehouse Associate in our Warehouse . This position operates loading/unloading products, monitors inventory accuracy, prepares sales order materials, packaging and documentation of outgoing shipments; ensures accuracy and processing of shipment; Major Responsibilities/Activities Prepare shipments for small parcels to UPS, Fedex or USPS. Pull and check material to be shipped against pick sheets and maintain integrity of quantities, items, and bin locations; report variances. Annotate necessary markings on packing sheet. Follow work instructions using appropriate container, pack method. Process small parcel and/or bulk shipments using shipping terminals; confirm destination and routing are correct; apply shipping labels and specific marking requirements. May operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or pallet stacker in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may assist in routine maintenance of equipment and shipping area. Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety and environmental standards. Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; maintain a clean and safe work area. Train, instruct and monitor new Pick/Pack employees in proper procedures and work instructions. May perform cycle counts and adjustments to maintain inventory. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 1 year of shipping/receiving/warehouse experience. Ability to read, write and understand English in order to receive written and verbal instructions/communications and safety procedures. Ability to operate computer for shipping/tracking packages. Standup Forklift experience. Knowledge of light equipment operation and/or maintenance. Physical Demands Most work takes place within a typical indoor warehouse environment Ability to lift, push and/or pull, up to and including 60 pounds. Ability to walk, stand, and reach with hands and arms frequently. Close visual acuity required in order to perform activities such as: computer screens, written instructions, and operate equipment within arm's length. Ability to hear in order to monitor forklift sounds.
