Job Description
Hollingshead Mixer Company. manufactures the highest quality, longest lasting, front discharge concrete mixing trucks. Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Shipping Associate and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely shipping of products, maintaining inventory integrity, and supporting overall warehouse efficiency. Responsibilities Follows daily sales orders giving special attention to various materials and shipping location. Prepare, pack, weigh, and label outgoing shipments using appropriate packaging materials to ensure product safety during transit. Prepares Bills of Ladings for truck shipments and UPS documentation for parcel shipments. Entering daily shipments into the company database. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely to load trucks, move inventory within the warehouse, and stock shelves. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by stocking supplies, organizing storage areas, adhering to all company policies and procedures, while following safety protocols at all times. Engage with drives and other team members with a positive attitude. Provides additional back-up support for other areas of the warehouse as needed. Other duties may be assigned. Requirements Previous experience with using UPS shipping software a plus. Excellent attention to detail combined with effective time management skills to meet shipping deadlines. Strong basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring packages, and processing shipments accurately. Familiarity with inventory management software, ERP system, or inventory management systems Previous experience working in a warehouse environment with knowledge of warehouse operations and distribution processes. Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely. Customer service mindset with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and other departments involved in logistics operations. Capable of standing/walking more than 80% of work time.
