Role Overview -
Compensation:
$17.35 - $18.35 per hour This role operates within a GMP-certified cold storage facility, maintaining temperatures between 34 and 45 degrees. While initially a temporary assignment, there is potential for transition into a permanent, full-time position. Key Duties Support daily production line operations. Ensure the production line remains stocked with necessary materials and ingredients. Maintain precise control over ingredient measurements to ensure product quality. Combine various ingredients as required by the production process. Operational Requirements Please note that mandatory overtime may be required based on production needs.
Work Location:
East Chicago Shift Information 1st shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm at $17.35 per hour. 2nd shift: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm at $18.35 per hour. Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred. Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights and weekends as business demands. Capacity to remain standing for long durations throughout your shift. Comfort working in a consistently refrigerated environment. Physical ability to climb and lift loads weighing up to 50 lbs. Compensation and Benefits We provide competitive weekly compensation along with a robust benefits package, which includes: Consistent weekly pay cycles. Eligible employees may accrue up to 40 hours of paid leave annually, with usage beginning 90 days after your start date, accruing at one hour for every 40 hours worked. 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching for qualified staff. Eligibility for the 401(k) requires one year of service, 1,000 hours worked, and a minimum age of 21, with entry dates on January 1st or July 1st. The employer provides a 100% match on the first 3% of contributions, plus a 50% match on the next 2%, for a maximum company contribution of 4%.
