Kelly is seeking a Material Handler to join our client's facility, where you'll play a vital part in ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Job Summary As a Material Handler, you'll be responsible for safely and accurately loading, receiving, and stacking materials and finished goods. You will ensure all documentation is present and accurate, maintain communication with your team, and keep the facility safe, clean, and clutter-free. This position may substitute for the Warehouse Supervisor as needed. Essential Functions Conduct all pre-operational, operational, and post-operational checks and duties on forklifts. Operate forklifts in line with safety policies for loading, unloading, and handling materials. Stack and place raw materials and finished goods in designated areas, ensuring efficient inventory control. Organize and stage products according to load sheets, ensuring correct labeling. Report any forklift issues to maintenance or supervision. Communicate with team and drivers to ensure efficient flow of traffic in loading docks. Verify pallet tags on finished goods for accuracy prior to storage or shipment. Inventory materials and enter/post results in software. Print shipment labels, reserve, complete, and post orders. Assist with production line materials movement as needed. Provide training as required. Handle hazardous/nonhazardous waste labeling, sealing, and storage appropriately. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout the facility. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred 2+ years of material handling experience Strong focus on Safety & Security, detail orientation, listening skills, customer focus, and self-awareness
Additional Details PPE:
