Basic Job Functions:
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Drive forklift and combi-lift to move and organize finished materials. Participate in facility maintenance to maintain order in the shipping yard. Manage housekeeping in the work area. Responsible for placing finished goods in the shipping yard for shipment to customers/vendors. Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with other workstations. Perform pre-shift equipment inspections. Perform all other duties as assigned. This opportunity is scheduled for 2nd
Shift Minimum Requirements:
Forklift or Combi Lift certification or the ability to achieve a certification within 30 days of assuming the role. Competency using Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 6 months of experience working with a Forklift and/or Combi lift in a shiping/warehouse environment.
