Materials Handler Essential Job Duties:

Receives packages upon delivery, checking paperwork and computer system as needed for staging and distribution. Ensures delivered packages are staged at the proper temperature based on the package label or notes in the system. Ensures distribution is to the appropriate end user and signatures are obtained and stored for record. Transports supplies and equipment, including medical gases. Assists with equipment finding, moving, cleaning, as needed. Assists in maintaining the cleanliness of the supplies, equipment, Storeroom, and loading dock. Assists with stocking supplies in the Storeroom using FIFO method. Assists with routine physical inventory. Demonstrates knowledge of hospital policies and procedures. Completes other duties as assigned. Education, Training & Experience High school degree or equivalent required. Valid driver's license Function grasp of standard written and verbal English. Accomplished at basic business math. Basic computer and computer keyboard experience. Flexible work schedule to meet the demands of the department. Experience in inventory methods preferred.
