Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Laborer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting production operations by performing a variety of manual tasks that ensure the smooth and efficient flow of manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks with precision and care. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment focused on quality and safety. Duties The Grain Elevator Operator is responsible for performing facility operations related to grain handling, including loading/unloading, equipment care, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role requires strong attention to safety, teamwork, and customer service while ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations at the facility.
Facility Operations:
Load/unload trucks, vessels, barges, and rail cars; fill/reclaim grain ground piles; perform other grain handling tasks.
Equipment Maintenance:
Conduct basic maintenance and operator care of equipment to ensure ongoing facility operations.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent service and engage effectively with team members.
Safety Compliance:
Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Workplace Cleanliness:
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Other Duties:
Perform additional tasks as assigned to support facility operations.
MUST HAVE
Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, climbing, kneeling, crawling, and twisting. Ability to work safely in indoor/ outdoor industrial / warehouse environments with exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, and PPE requirements. Experience loading and unloading trucks, rail cars, barges, vessels, or bulk materials. Basic equipment operation and preventative maintenance experience. Basic computer skills and ability to complete operational documentation. Strong commitment to workplace safety and ability to work at heights (4 feet or higher). Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, and provide excellent customer service.
Shift Timing:
7AM-7PM Weekly schedule: M-S CH1
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
