A growing and vital company, Flex-N-Gate provides a great opportunity for hard-working and skilled individuals. Summary In the Horizon warehouse environment, the operators are responsible for a variety of task and will be asked to support different areas as needed, when needed through out the day. Tasks will include loading and unloading inbound and outbound trucks. Moving and staging product through out the warehouse. Using a variety of equipment to include walkies or reach trucks to move product into the area the operator is working in and/or a wrapping machine. Operators may be picking product, wrapping product, doing quality checks or staging product at anytime during the day. Job Duties - Load full and partial truckloads, with or without load bars with attentiveness Stage pallets from area to area being sure to properly scan product to document movements Wrap product, verifying paperwork and picking information Pick and pack product according to label and packing slips Proficiently read printed tickets, locations and item labels Compute simple mathematics Build organized pallets Abide by the company's policies and procedures, all local, state and federal laws and regulations Operate all machines and machinery to include reach truck, forklift, electric pallet rider, walkie, wrapping machines, etc. Maintain neat, clean, and organized work areas Other duties/tasks as necessary Requirements High school diploma or GED Be able to read, write, understand and communicate in English proficiently Be able to follow written and verbal directions Be able to lift 25 to 150# continuously through out the day (individually/team lifts) Be able to continuously walk, stand, bend, push, pull, stoop, kneel and reach overhead/below the waist Have dexterity to repeatedly feel, grasp, squeeze a variety of parts and tools Be able to use basic technologies to include computers, scanner and printers Be able to work independently or in a team Working Conditions Availability to work 12 hours shifts and/or weekends on short notice Exposed to manufacturing hazards such as dust, plastics, cardboard, machinery exhaust and noise Work in ambient environment, hot in the summer, cooler in the winter Be able to use PPE such as safety glasses, vest, hearing protection, safety shoes, etc. What We Offer
