Job Description
Overview The Stryten factory in Salina, Kansas is one of the largest lead-acid battery manufacturing sites in North America with 800 employees capable of producing more than 35,000 quality batteries per day. These batteries can be found in your car, in your boat or RV, or, in your lawn and garden equipment. Stryten proudly supports the local community by regularly participating in Project Salina, the Salvation Army Angel Tree program, and providing more than 100 volunteers for the Smoky Hill River Festival. All material handler personnel must be willing to work in any department. material handlers must be trained and licensed in the operation of material handling equipment.
Starting pay rate:
$21.28 Bonus opportunities! Quarterly Attendance Bonus- associates have the potential to earn up to $600 each quarter; just for showing up to work your scheduled hours! Gainshare Bonus
- hourly associates have the potential to earn up to 10% of their gross monthly pay; potentially $300 per month! Production Bonus
- associates have the potential to earn daily bonuses based on the plant hitting production goals; potentially up to $11.

Qualifications Physical Requirements:
Motor skills to operate material handling equipment in locations where product is stored From the floor to 16 foot racks in narrow aisles. Perform various duties requiring walking, sitting, lifting, bending, twisting. Must be able to wear protective equipment required of the position. Occasional lifting from grams up to 50 lbs. Will be exposed to extreme environmemtal conditions (hot, cold, humid)Equipment Used:
Reach truck, fork lift, walkie, clipboard, pen/pencil, JD Edwards rfEducation, Experience, Skills Required:
