Job Description Position Purpose:
To improve inventory accuracy through the use of system generated cycle counting, determining root cause and corrective actions as well as assist in the timely processing of all outbound material issues and incoming material receipts.
Essential Functions:
Work with other cycle counter to ensure counts are accurate and on time. Work with all Materials Personnel to ensure inventory is accurate. Assist Materials Control Supervisor and/or Materials Manager with reconciliation of Location Audits. Ensure discrepancies are fixed in a timely manner. Conduct root cause analysis and look at corrective actions. Assist Planners in maintaining system integrity. Transport production parts to assigned line using tow motor/lift truck. Operates reach or fork truck to pick supplies throughout the facility. Loads semi-truck and trailer. Operates auto wrapper to wrap pallets for transport. Assist with incoming part put away as needed. Education and Training High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum Qualifications Ability to analyze and resolve inventory inaccuracies. Ability to recognize and identify areas for improvement. Competent with all required documentation. Ability to use QAD. Knowledge of TS requirements. Ability to perform weight count verifications. Patience to understand the complexity of inventory backflush. Must be fork-lift certified. Physical Demands Constant sitting, standing, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, driving, use of lower extremities, and simple grasps. Frequent climbing and fine manipulation. Occasional walking, forward bending, and firm grasps. Minimal squatting, kneeling, and crawling. Lifting up to 80 lbs. Carrying 10-80 lbs. up to 5 feet. Push/Pull 5-30 force lbs.
