Job Summary:
A Warehouse Associate is responsible for tracking inventory, running, shipping and receiving various materials and equipment to and from the shipyard, checking tools in and out of the tool room to employees, and maintaining the necessary records and inventories. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m. The team rotates weekend shifts, so weekend availability is required. What you'll get: 8 paid holidays. Paid time off. What you'll do: Track inventory and maintain a complete stock at all times. Transport materials and equipment to and from the shipyard. Ship and receive materials and equipment. Check tools in and out of the tool room to employees. Maintain the necessary records of the tools, equipment and supplies that are assigned to various departments on jobs. Mark tools with proper symbols and designate repairs to be made by proper department when necessary. Communicate effectively with supervisors, employees and visitors. Prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. What you'll need: Must possess a high school diploma or
G.E.D. A
