Warehouse Material Handler responsible for inbound and outbound freight, order picking, inventory movement, material handling equipment operation, and warehouse documentation. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience with warehouse systems. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds. Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks. Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures, shipping documents, and applicable regulations. Ability to perform basic arithmetic involving quantities, weight, volume, distance, and monetary values. Ability to operate a computer and use Microsoft Office and warehouse-related software. Ability to type and use standard office equipment. Ability to work any shift. Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, crouch, kneel, balance, reach, and perform repetitive hand and foot movements. Ability to work around moving machinery, elevated areas, temperature changes, dust, fumes, gases, and loud noise. Preferred Skills OSHA forklift certification. HAZMAT certification. Familiarity with metric measurements. Experience with inventory adjustments, cycle counts, and physical inventories. Experience operating shrink-wrap equipment. Experience with lot, batch, and serial number-controlled inventory. Job Responsibilities Unload trucks, trailers, containers, and other inbound freight. Count received products and compare shipments against manifests. Inspect inbound shipments for damage, infestation, incorrect production dates, shortages, or mis-shipments. Document shipment discrepancies and sign for inbound deliveries as required. Move received materials to assigned warehouse storage locations. Pick orders by product number, quantity, lot, batch, and serial number requirements. Transport orders to shipping areas using forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and related equipment. Label, stencil, tag, band, bundle, wrap, over-pack, and palletize orders as required. Verify outbound shipment quantities, labeling, addresses, and order documentation. Load products, cartons, and pallets into trailers, railcars, or containers. Operate warehouse equipment in accordance with OSHA and applicable safety requirements. Maintain material handling equipment and work areas. Maintain inventory records and reports. Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts. Maintain proper stock rotation. Enter inventory adjustments into warehouse systems as required. Repack or re-box products according to order requirements. Repair, separate, or consolidate damaged goods as required. Operate shrink-wrap equipment. Charge forklift batteries and sort usable and damaged pallets. Clean trailers, railcars, loading docks, and warehouse bays as required.
