Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM + rotating

Saturdays Pay:

$17.00/hour Temp-to-Hire Opportunity We are currently hiring a dependable General Labor / Yard Associate for a busy recycling and scrap yard in Winchester, KY. This is a hands-on, outdoor position with a variety of responsibilities throughout the day. We are looking for someone with a steady work history, strong attendance, and a willingness to stay busy and move between different tasks. Previous forklift, heavy equipment, warehouse, construction, landscaping, recycling, or industrial experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities include:

General yard cleanup and organization Sorting and organizing materials Copper stripping and other hands-on material processing Sweeping, trash removal, and maintaining work areas Moving materials throughout the yard Assisting with different tasks as business needs change Following safety procedures and supervisor direction Working independently as well as with the yard team

Preferred Experience:

Forklift operation Heavy equipment operation Scrap yard, recycling, warehouse, construction, landscaping, or other outdoor industrial work Material handling Previous positions requiring physical labor

Steady and dependable work history Reliable attendance and transportation Comfortable working outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions Able to perform physical work throughout the shift Self-motivated and able to stay productive with limited supervision Willing and able to work rotating Saturdays Able to follow directions and safely transition between tasks This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for long-term employment for someone who demonstrates strong attendance, dependability, and work performance. Candidates must interview with the client prior to placement.
