Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling purchase orders, and keeping warehouse stocked with essential equipment
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Verify incoming shipments for appropriate quantity and quality.
  • Process invoices, claim vouchers, purchase orders, ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained.
  • Plan layout, maintenance and up keep of stockroom and other storage areas and consolidates existing stock to maximize space utilization.
  • Use computerized systems to enter data into inventory control systems, maintain inventory, complete records of supply transactions.
  • Monitor KPI's, performance levels and quality control.
  • Process and verify inventory movement transactions, maintain overall accuracy of inventory levels based on predicted requirements
  • Operate all lift equipment (forklifts, pallet jack etc.), in a safe manner to ensure personal protection and to ensure the protection of other personnel and company property.
  • Load/unload merchandise or material from cars or trucks.
Pack and unpack shipments, processing, scanning and shelving of parts, pulling orders.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
    Education:
    Bachelor degree in Supply chain management, Logistics, Warehouse management
      Experience:
      At least 2 years in relevant position
        Computer Skills:
        Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
          Certificates & Licenses:
          Certified forklift operating license.
            Interpersonal Skills:
            Lead/Partner with the local & central management team
              Other Skills:
              Creativity, tactical planning, problem analysis, and staff development skills
