Job Summary:

The Container Loader is responsible for loading and unloading goods from containers in a safe and efficient manner. This job role involves stacking, sorting, and organizing items in an orderly fashion, ensuring that they are safely and securely secured in the container. The loader must also ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed correctly and that all safety protocols are followed. The Container Loader must also ensure that the container is loaded in a timely manner and that the goods are delivered on schedule. This position requires strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Strong leadership and management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy when placing products out for shipping. Load and unload trucks/containers with materials/products. Organize materials and ensure they are properly always secured. Perform routine safety and maintenance checks on equipment, docks and containers. Keep records of materials delivered and shipped. Perform facility maintenance assignments as required. Strong organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of supply chain management principles. Participate in cross-functional teams and projects as required.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. One to two years of related experience desired.

Physical Requirements:

This position typically requires maximum effort in a harsh environment. Able to lift and carry boxes and objects for a prolong period. Good hand-eye-foot coordination and sense of balance. Able to kneel, crouch, or crawl. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
