Warehouse Specialist
LOCATION

Fabrication & Distribution Supervisor
OBJECTIVE
: Be a valuable team member of Verrex and its Shipping and Receiving department; to enable Verrex to maintain its reputation for quality and leadership in the Audio-Visual industry.
COMPENSATION
Non-exempt (hourly), monthly cell phone stipend.

RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Warehouse Receive and organize all project and inventory-related materials in designated areas. Purge job shelves according to deletion reports. Process Pick/Pull Tickets and Ship Requests, including: Ship materials via common carriers using proper packaging. Verify items to be shipped with the Field Technician or delivery person. Return items deleted from jobs to vendors for credit. Track packages as needed and communicate status appropriately. Schedule shipments via common carriers. Operate a pallet jack and regularly lift a minimum of 75 pounds. Maintain and restock shop, office, kitchen, and restroom supplies as needed. Provide miscellaneous maintenance and office assistance as needed. 2. Deliveries and Driving Make frequent deliveries throughout the Boston metro area. Make occasional deliveries to and from Verrex HQ in Mountainside, NJ. Verify the following for all deliveries: Products and packaging are not damaged during delivery. Ship Work Orders match the products received for delivery. Authorized delivery signatures are obtained from the Verrex Technician/Subcontractor or Customer Contact. Maintain the delivery vehicle, including oil changes, cleanliness, and general care. 3. General Requirements Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms. Ability to use computers for receiving, processing shipping orders, email, and other company communications. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Experience driving a 16- to 25-foot box truck. This job description may be revised at any given time by Verrex Management.
