Job Description

Material Handler responsible for storing, counting, issuing, moving, and staging materials, parts, supplies, and finished goods to support production and shipping operations. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED required Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred Experience maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling, storing, and recording material locations Experience pulling, verifying, and delivering materials and supplies from inventory Experience receiving return materials from production and verifying item number, lot number, and quantity Experience preparing finished goods for shipment, including picking, packing, crating, loading, and securing product Experience using inventory systems and completing inventory transactions in Oracle or similar ERP systems Computer familiarity and data entry skills Ability to read and follow written instructions and work procedures Ability to work assigned shifts and required overtime Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical material-handling tasks in a manufacturing environment Preferred Skills Oracle experience Experience using move orders and pick slips Experience supporting shipping, receiving, and production material flow Experience with pre-use inspections of material-handling equipment Experience participating in continuous improvement activities Experience working within

2015 procedures Experience supporting workplace organization using 5S procedures Job Responsibilities Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies into stock Record inventory locations and complete inventory transactions in Oracle Locate, pull, verify, and deliver materials and supplies listed on move orders and pick slips Receive returned materials and supplies from production, verify item number, lot number, and quantity, and return materials to stock Prepare finished product for shipment by picking, packing, crating, loading, and securing materials according to procedures and work instructions Maintain material-handling equipment, including scales, by completing pre-use inspections Troubleshoot material flow and inventory issues and escalate when needed Support workplace organization and cleanliness across plant areas, workstations, equipment, walkways, and break rooms using 5S procedures Participate in continuous improvement projects Follow operating procedures, work instructions, and

2015 requirements to complete assigned work safely and efficiently Physical Requirements Stand frequently during the shift Handle small components regularly Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed Occasionally walk, sit, reach, climb, or balance Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Work around moving mechanical parts and repetitive motion tasks
Pay:
