The Opportunity:

This entry-level position is designed for individuals with no prior experience but possess a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. As a General Laborer, you will have the chance to work in various labor departments based on daily assignments, providing exposure to the diverse tasks within a traditional boat yard environment. Individuals with prior experience will find the tasking of this role similar to the basic functions every New England boat yard provides.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in cleaning, covering, or washing boats.
• Bottom painting and shrink wrapping.
• Support staging boats for work and moving equipment between facilities.
• Contribute to facility maintenance.
• Embrace a variety of tasks that make every day interesting and different.
• Opportunities for additional responsibilities based on skills and interests.

Qualifications:

• Willingness to learn and work hard is essential.
• Ability to work outdoors and seasonally inside workshops.
• Dependable, with the ability to follow directions and prioritize safety.
• Occasional use of ladders, PPE, lifting objects up to fifty pounds, bending, and reaching over your head.
