For over 170 years, Crosby Yacht Yard has been a beacon of tradition and innovation in boat construction and maintenance. As we continue to grow, we are looking for motivated individuals to join our team and contribute to the legacy of our traditional marina.The Opportunity:
This entry-level position is designed for individuals that possess a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. As a Yard Worker, you will have the chance to work in various labor departments based on daily assignments, providing exposure to the diverse tasks within a traditional boat yard environment. Individuals with prior experience will find the tasking of this role similar to the basic functions every boat yard provides.Responsibilities:
- Assist in cleaning, covering, and washing boats.
- Bottom painting and shrink wrapping.
- Assist with the travel lift, hydraulic trailer, forklift, or boat trailer operations to haul boats out of the water and launch them back in.
- Assist with blocking and securing boats on land using stands, blocks, and cribbing so they sit level and stable for storage or work.
- Assist with bottom washing, pressure washing, and basic cleaning immediately after hauling.
- Support staging boats for work and moving equipment between facilities.
- Contribute to facility maintenance.
- Embrace a variety of tasks that make every day interesting and different.

Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn and work hard is essential.
- Ability to work outdoors and seasonally inside workshops.
- Dependable, with the ability to follow directions and prioritize safety.
- Occasional use of ladders, PPE, lifting objects up to fifty pounds, bending, and reaching over your head.
- Prior experience in a marina or boat yard, especially with hauling and launching boats, is preferred but not required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or GED required.
