Warehouse Associate

Position Overview Melville Candy Company is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations at our Canton facility. This role is responsible for loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, fulfilling production orders, and helping maintain a safe and efficient warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other powered equipment to load and unload inbound and outbound trucks Pick internal production orders from warehouse inventory accurately and in a timely manner Verify load accuracy against shipping and receiving documents before departure or put-away Maintain organized storage locations and ensure products are properly labeled and stacked Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment and report any mechanical issues Keep work areas, aisles, and dock areas clean, clear, and free of hazards Follow all forklift safety protocols, PPE requirements, and warehouse traffic procedures Support inventory organization and general warehouse operations as needed Qualifications Previous warehouse experience preferred Forklift operation experience preferred Ability to safely lift and move products throughout the shift Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work in a physically active warehouse environment

Pay:

$18.50 - $20.50 per hour
