Full Job Description Main Function :

Provides warehouse and field support services to ensure materials, fluids, and equipment are prepared for staging and distribution, the shop, yard, and equipment are clean and organized, and deliveries and pickups are executed smoothly, while providing direct field support through local deliveries and onsite assistance.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Under the general direction of the Inventory and Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Support Assistant individual carries out the following responsibilities, including but not limited to: Prepares and stages technician resources such as fluids, parts and equipment Assists field technicians at shop for loading and unloading activities as well as restocking of fluids, parts and equipment Assists with loading and unloading of parts and equipment from deliveries, utilizing forklift truck as necessary (requires certification and demonstrated proficiency) Manages waste retrieval, recycling, and disposal activities Ensures shop and yard are clean and organized Performs painting and housekeeping maintenance on customer and company equipment, to also include clean out and washing of fleet of company vehicles Assists field technicians at shop for loading and unloading activities as well as restocking of fluids, parts, and equipment. Helps organize and maintain our inventory of tools, equipment, and other physical assets Performs facility and warehouse maintenance duties as assigned. Assists with property maintenance and upkeep Assists as scheduled as additional support staff for multi-tech jobs. Assists local delivery and distribution efforts, distributing parts and materials to field staff; picks up any parts from vendors and deliver to technicians or customers as assigned. Assists with basic building repairs, miscellaneous jobs, and handyman work as needed Performs other related duties as necessary or directed

Skills:

Cares for and uses applicable mechanic tools safely and neatly Always follows FM Generator and customer safety policies and procedures Has a basic understanding of the equipment being serviced and associated safety protocols Follows EPA regulations relating to proper handling and disposal of

Hazardous Materials Required Qualifications:

Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent Acceptable, to our insurance underwriters, driving record Individuals must demonstrate discretion, common sense, and effective decision-making abilities

Working Conditions:

Overtime may be required due to "emergency service" nature of position Regular exposure to outdoor conditions As needed, travel in company provided vehicle Sitting, bending, squatting, climbing, twisting, overhead work, and lifting heavy objects Capability of lifting over 50lbs
